Q. I have registered for the free workshops/seminars on Eventbrite, why I didn’t receive details on Zoom?
We take all feedback we received very seriously. We have investigated each incident and found the common reasons why participants are not receiving details on Zoom:
Q. I have paid for my membership, why the system still charging me the non-member price?
It may take up to 1 business day for the system to approve your membership application. Once your membership application has been approved, member pricing will be automatically applied to your account during checkout. If you encounter any issue, please contact centre for immediate assistance.
Q. I don’t want to be a member, why I still have to create a profile in the portal in order to register for the free classes and workshops?
By creating a profile, it provides us an acceptable form of ID to verify it later when you run into a problem. Also, the information you provided in your profile is just a way for us to identify, communicate and serving you better. Imagine there 8 Margaret or 10 John in our system with the same last name. Also, we have to make sure you are meeting our age requirements, such as children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a person 16 years or older, etc.
Q. I don’t know my login ID and password, what should I do?
If you have previously provided your email address when you signing up for your membership, you can obtain your login ID and password by going to our website login screen, click the “Forgot your password” link. Enter your email address and click “Retrieve my password.” Then you will receive your login ID and password in your email.
Q. Why some activities available while others not?
We are closely monitoring all provincial and federal health guidelines to ensure the safety for all our members and staff. We will only offer modified classes and activities when it is safe to do so. In order to reduce the risk of spreading of COVID-19 in the community, we have carefully reviewed and consulted with each instructor and followed the guidelines and recommendations of local public health officials. We will be monitoring progress on COVID-19 and making necessary adjustments on other programs as needed.
Q. I still don’t feel ready to come in the centre, what are my options?
If you aren’t ready to come back to our centre in-person just yet, we totally understand. That’s why we are offering series of online programs at no cost, which we think you will be pleasantly surprised and keep you safe and healthy at your own home. Q. 我不想成為會員,為什麼還需要登記成為非會員才能參加免費的工作坊及講座?
登記成為非會員,可提供我們可接納的身份認證資料,以便於遇到問題時對其進行身份確認。另外,您的個人資料只供中心識別及聯絡用途,為您提供更好服務的一個渠道。試想一下,我們的系統中有8個同姓氏瑪加烈或10個同姓氏的約翰。另外,我們必須確認您符合我們的最低年齡要求,例如13歲以下的兒童必須由16歲或以上人士陪同等。
Q. 我不知道我的登錄ID和密碼,該怎麼辦?
如果您曾經在註冊成為會員時提供過電郵地址,可於我們網站的登錄頁點擊“忘記密碼”鏈結來獲取登錄ID和密碼。只須輸入您的電郵地址,然後按“取回我的密碼”。您將於電郵中收到登錄ID和密碼。
Q. 我於年初繳付了2020年會員的費用,但是中心關閉了,我的會籍怎麼辦?
會員是我們的全部!衷心感謝閣下對萬民衛斯理社區服務中心的支持,尤其在現今這個前所未有的日子。我們已積極延長所有於2020年3月前已全額支付的會員會籍至明年年底。會員無需為此更採取任何行動,新的到期日將於年底時自動更改為2021年12月31日。新會員或尚未於2020年度續會會員,也可以參加我們即將推出之會員招募活動。假如您今天註冊成為會員,您的會籍將有效至2021年12月31日,即相當於2個月免費*! 如此優惠,切勿錯過!
Q. 為什麼有些活動可以進行而另一些活動不可?
